I am the owner/developer of a beach resort town. We sell and rent homes for both short and long term stays. In fact, all of the homes are for sale. We basically build each house as a spec home and until they sell, they are rented to vacationers by the weekend or longer. Selling the homes can be a bit of a challenge because in our market, we are quite pricey. For that reason it is very important that our advertising be high impact. A simple ‘For Sale’ sign will not do. We have chosen to use custom signs to make that dramatic impact.

When a prospective client approaches one of our homes for sale, he or she is greeted with a full color wooden sign board that shows high res pictures of each room of the house. Each photo is captioned with an explanation of the room and its unique features and amenities. Also, the photos are of the actual house they are standing in front of, not photos of a similar model in a different location.

custom signs allow them to actually see the house they are looking at on the sign in front of them and can see the rooms inside the house from the street. This has a dramatic impact. The people see the picture of the rooms and naturally begin to imagine themselves living there. Thoughts like “this would be perfect for my office” and “this would be Bobby’s room” begin to go through their minds. Then, their interest is heightened to actually set an appointment to see the house inside in person. That puts them into contact with our skilled sales staff.

By the time the appointment to tour the home arrives, they have already been imagining life in the home for several days, and all because of custom signs. Were our advertising done with standard signage and flyers, most would turn away at the sight of the price. But our property has so much to offer that makes up that cost. Through the use of custom signs, we are able to inform each prospective home owner of those amenities and the unique features of the home before they ever set foot in the house. custom signs have been an essential tool in the selling of my homes.
